My Future Job

Hello everyone, this week's topic is about my future job.

I'd like to work as a digital comic artist, I imagine it would be a very stressful job if I'm working on multiple other people's projects or maybe it would be very enjoyable if I'm working on my own projects, maybe I could be more of a freelancer rather than work in a specific company.

And since the equipment necessary can be bought easily online nowadays, I could be working indoors from my home but I don't think I would be able to travel a lot for my work, and honestly I prefer it that way, I don't like going out from my home unless is absolutely necessary. I don't think it would have a great salary, because things related to arts and drawing tend to be undervalued, even more if it is digital art, people tend to think that it's not real or easy because the programs can help you, and that is not true, you need to practice to know how to use the programs.

But for now I will stay studying in my career Design, which I choose in the first place because I saw in a documentary about recognized toy brands, that some of the people that make the concept art for the toys are industrial designers, but maybe in the future, after I finish Design and I start working, I would like to study Illustration, since it is more similar to my own hobbies.

I hope that you had a wonderful week, see you in the next post.

  3. Hello, Valentina what a great job, I love drawing, the best thing is to be able to be independent, to be your own boss and not depend on a person to make the decisions of the "company".
